The Comprehensive Cancer Center (CCC) of MedUni Vienna and Vienna General Hospital
strives to honor scientific excellence and therefore establishes its “CCC Best Paper Award”. With this award, the CCC wants to present the scientific expertise of its members and promote their publication activities.
This prize will be awarded to the three best publications of 2020 and 2021, with the first-place paper receiving 5.000 Euros, the second-place paper 3.000 Euros, and the third-place paper 1.000 Euros.
The publication must be submitted by the first or last author, who need to be employees of the Medical University of Vienna at an early career stage and not be habilitated yet. In addition, only original papers in which the CCC is named as an affiliation are eligible.
Applicants must include a letter of agreement with all authors' signatures confirming that all authors of the paper agree to its submission.
Submissions will be judged by the CCC Steering Committee.
The submission deadline is October 15, 2021.
