About the speaker:
Leeat Keren, an Assistant Professor at the Department of Molecular Cell Biology, Weizmann Institute of Science, boasts a rich academic background, having completed her Ph.D. studies and M.Sc. at the same institute, alongside a B.Sc. in Bioinformatics from Tel-Aviv University.
She currently leads the Computational Systems Biology M.Sc. program at Weizmann. Keren's professional journey extends beyond academia; she has chaired conferences, served on scientific committees, and organized events in her field. Her remarkable contributions have earned her prestigious fellowships and awards, including the Krill Prize for excellent scientific research by the Wolf Foundation and the James Heineman Research Award by the Minna James Heineman Stiftung Foundation.
